Billed as a “Lo-fi Micro 4/3 Camera Lens; A manual focus lens to give your digital photos creative edge” By Photojojo, this cheap manual focus lens hits the “fast 50″ mark on a Micro Four Thirds camera like the Olympus PEN E-P3, at f/1.4 its soft bokeh, vignetting, lens flares, low contrast, and very shallow depth of field and near tilt-shift photo effect make it worthy of a look for Photographers looking to step out of “the box”. 25mm lens with an aperture range of f/1.4 to f/16 Manual focus Two pieces: lens and C mount adapter Focuses down to 0.3 meters Lens length is 4cm; weighs 300g 37mm diameter 25mm focal length which is like having a 50mm lens on a 35mm camera Works with all Olympus and Panasonic Micro 4/3 Cameras; (does not work with the Sony NEX, the slightly larger sensor in the NEX cameras isn’t covered by the image circle of this lens) NOTE: At the time of production of this review the specific Lens kit shown isn’t available on Photojojo’s website, It was a “subscribers only special offer” when I ordered it, I don’t know when, or if, it’ll become generally available on their main site, but past popular “subscriber only specials” have usually become standard stock… Don’t ask me when, or if they’ll be available, I have NO CLUE, ask the folks Photojojo.com OR… there are lots of different C-mount lenses around many of them can he had quite cheaply on ebay and specialist camera stores / websites, same goes for the adaptors to use them on non C-mount cameras.
